Updates - Please Stand By - Or Don't.

No I am not taking the blog down and no I am not working on some sort of amazing update. I am just tired and my brain hurts. I think after this past week's events my brain just needs a vacation. I have debated on taking down the blog lately just because I stare at web content from other sites and have no desire to post it here. I guess it happens, especially when your brain is overloaded with information that is difficult to process. Hopefully I will bounce out of this slump and pick up where I left off in a few weeks but for now I am just going to enjoy life. Hang out with my good friends who are flying in this week from Arizona and catch up with some friends from the past and current friends.

Movie News - New Star Wars Clone Wars Poster.

In case you haven't heard from a Geek you might know, a new animated Star Wars Movie is coming to the theaters in August. I believe this to be the official poster. Of all the movies this Summer I am obviously excited about this and even more so because now I can go see a Star Wars movie with my 9 year old nephew. I am sure he will like it very much, but truthfully you know I will end up liking it more.

If you want to check out the leaked trailer you can do so here. If not I will be posting the official link once it becomes available.

Movie News - New G.I.Joe Photos.

Screw those leaked photos that hit a few weeks ago, we've got some brand new never-before-seen photos of G.I. Joe's Destro, Heavy Duty, and Storm Shadow. Unfortunately we did not get invited to the set of G.I. Joe like these other sites, but instead we've got these to share with all of you. These are definitely the first hardcore photos from the movie, with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Heavy Duty in action, Byung-hun Lee as Storm Shadow with his blades drawn, and Christopher Eccleston as Destro just… standing there. My interest in this movie is defintiely growing every day because of photos like these and past news like this. I definitely have a feeling this is going to be one badass movie next summer!

Quote of the Day - Yessir, I Have My Scars.

William H. Bonney: I never stole a horse from someone I didn't like. Did I like him? Hell no; I loved the son of a bitch. You asked me if I have scars? Yessir, I have my scars.

Movie News - Why So Serious?

Wait... Did we already see this movie once? Oh well, why not pay to see it again because that's what a fan of Batman does. Did you ever see Batman on Ice... It's amazing.

Movie News - Iron Man - Movie Review.

So I checked out what I am calling the kick off to one of the best Summer of Movies movie, Iron Man. It's tough to just come straight out and say it was a good movie when people ask me but that's probably because I was riding the hype train for awhile and read the book based on the movie before it came out.

That being said, minus all the hype and minus a great book (you should read it if you like the movie), the movie was pretty good. However, a few things rubbed me the wrong way. Sorry Gwenyth Paltrow fans but she felt out of place with her scenes kinda the same way I though Kirsten Dunst was in Spiderman. And sadly Jeff Bridges, I never really liked his acting or the rest of his family's acting actually, but he was the most tolerable and he just didn't feel like a good villain to me. Obviously not compared to the likes of Kevin Spacey's Lex Luthor or Heath Ledger's Joker but to be fair to the Marvel Universe I did like Dr. Doom in Fantastic Four and Magneto in X-Men. Granted Jeff Bridges is a villain in a giant mechanical suit but it felt not as good as I wanted it to be.

The rest of the film, the effects and story and Robert Downey's portrayal of Tony Stark. Awesome! It felt like a fast ride and I am just really glad the Summer is off to a good start since it is only still Spring. If you are a comic book geek or just someone who enjoys a fun action movie, go now and check this movie out. It's worth the $10.00.

This has to be some of the funniest shit I have seen in a long time. I needed a good laugh and now I know what I have been doing wrong for all these years.

Movie News - Dark Knight - 2nd Trailer. So Fun!

A second full-length theatrical trailer for The Dark Knight has finally debuted online. This is the same version that was bootlegged online and shown as part of last week's Joker trailer hunt. This trailer is absolutely perfect - it shows the perfect amount of new footage to tease us beyond the first trailer and yet doesn't show us too much so as to prevent the movie from being ruined in July. I know I'm not the only one incredibly excited for The Dark Knight and I know that just about everyone is looking forward to one hell of a phenomenal theatrical experience this July. I don't know how there is any way Christopher Nolan could let us down at this point, but I'll continue to hold my breath. Without any further delay, it's time to enjoy this new trailer as we count down the days to July 18th!

Watch it here.
