Games - Sumotori Dreams.

Sumotori Dreams is a funny PC game where you play the role of a Sumo wrestler. I tried it and found that the controls are very hard to master.

It's like watching two drunk wrestlers having a go at each other. It does make for a very funny video, however.

Geek Stuff - Space, the Final Frontier... For Real.

Well at least for the very very rich. But who knows, maybe someday... Even if I am 70, be better that way in case I blow up. I prefer to just enjoy a few more years on the ground first. But then again, if this was a ride at Disney - I would be first in line.

Check out the first commercial Space Ship/Shuttle here.

Pretty funny, the ending is kinda lame... but still good.

Movies - Trailer: The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Disney is a tough company for me to love and hate as far as movies go. I am not a big fan of the dozen or so CGI movies that they have produced over the last decade. I personally prefer the hand drawn cartoon movies. However, ever since Pirates of the Caribbean became a success they seem to be trying to find that next big thing. The trailer looks fun and fast, more eye candy than anything... but this seems to me like Harry Potter on steroids.

I guess my question is - are movies with 3D and flash more popular now than movies with a good story? The first Pirates of the Caribbean movie was great, the other two seemed to flashy to me with to much CGI. A movie like National Treasure, I enjoyed the story more.

I could name a dozen movies that seem to have a good first movie with a good story but then the sequels end up flopping because they tried to double even sometimes triple the special effects. Just a quick run through of the ones I noticed, The Matrix, The Original Star Wars Trilogy, Indiana Jones, I would even go as far as to say Transformers. I think the new Batman movies got it right but I can't think of many others that have stayed the same in terms of effects.

Movies - MIB III: Josh Brolin is the 3rd Wheel?

Just over a month ago we finally heard some official word on the long rumored Men in Black 3 as Tropic Thunder writer Etan Cohen was set to write the three-quel in Columbia's franchise. Now things are getting a little more interesting as Hero Complex reports that Josh Brolin is being considered to join the ranks of MiB, with a few possibilities for his role. Brolin will be playing either "a new single-monikered government agent, with Tommy Lee Jones' Agent K passing the baton to Brolin's character. Or he could play Agent K as a young man. Or something else entirely." The other good news is that Will Smith is expected to return.

SkyNet - The Sushi Terminator.

Sure... Sushi today - machine guns tomorrow. Why do robots have to be humanized? What purpose does it serve to create artificial intelligence and then make it become and look human? Scary stuff if you ask me. Then again I haven't had a girlfriend in 3 years.

Sure every media market these days whether it be movies, games or comics seem to be literally overrun by Zombies and Vampires. But these images are still pretty damn good.

Movies - John Malkovich is Vulture in Spiderman 4?

I hate to run another Spider-Man 4 rumor, but this time Movieline came across something that actually seems legit. They're saying that they were informed by an insider that John Malkovich is being eyed for the role of the villain Vulture and also that, as we reported previously, Anne Hathaway is being eyed for a role as well. Interestingly, they say Hathaway will play a character named Felicia Hardy, who is the altar ego of a villain known as the Vulturess, not Black Cat (like in the comics). For once, this actually gels with what we know from our inside sources. It seems like these characters and this casting may finally be accurate.
